Another suspect arrested in Holly Bobo slaying
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The brother of a man charged with murder and kidnapping in slaying of nursing student Holly Bobo was arrested Wednesday after Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents accused him of tampering with evidence.
John Dylan Adams, 26, was charged with one count of tampering with evidence tied to the investigation, according to a TBI release.
Adams is the brother of Zachary Rye Adams, who faces murder and aggravated kidnapping charges in connection to Bobo's death. A second man, Jason Wayne Autry, also faces first-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping charges.
Investigators accused John Dylan Adams of disposing objects known to be evidence in the case on the day the 20-year-old nursing student disappeared in rural Decatur County. The TBI did not say what the evidence was.
Adams was booked into Madison County Jail on Wednesday night without bond.
TBI confirmed earlier this month that remains found in a wooded area of Decatur were those of Bobo, who had been missing since April 2011.
Two other men, brothers Mark Pearcy and Jeffrey Kurt Pearcy, were arrested May 29 and charged with tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact in the case.
TBI spokesman Josh DeVine said the agency is determination to punish everyone involved in Bobo's disappearance.
"We are going to do whatever it takes to find justice for the friends and family of Holly Bobo," and follow evidence where it might lead," DeVine said.
