Candy Crowley's final guest is a big one: Obama
Candy Crowley leaves CNN on Sunday, and one guest is giving her quite the send-off.
President Obama will be talking with the veteran reporter on State of the Union, the series Crowley has anchored for four years. In the network exclusive interview, he'll be discussing the latest news on Cuba and North Korea, as well as the final two years of his presidency.
After 27 years of political reporting with CNN, Crowley leaves behind a strong legacy.
As chief political correspondent, she's interviewed power players from both sides of the aisle, congressional leaders and she was one of the only journalists to speak with George W. Bush as he closed out his presidency.
In 2012, she was the first woman to moderate a presidential debate, between Obama and Mitt Romney, in two decades.
It was announced earlier this month that Crowley would move on from the network, amid Time Warner buyouts and layoffs affecting 300 CNN employees.
Candy Crowley's final State of the Union airs Sunday at 9 a.m. ET / PT.
