5 people dead in Georgia home; family member sought

LAGRANGE, Ga. — Authorities are searching for a man wanted in the deaths of five people whose bodies were found at a LaGrange home late Saturday night.
The Troup County Sheriff's Office was asked to conduct a welfare check at the home in the 100 block of Woodstream Trail at about 10 p.m. ET, when the bodies were found. Initially, deputies said four bodies had been found, but indicated a fifth victim had been found a few hours later.
Inside the house were the bodies of four females and one male. The victims were identified as 69-year-old William Burtron, 68-year-old Sheila Burton, 33-year-old Christie Lee, 18-year-old Iiaonna Green and 16-year-old Bailey Burton.
According to police, four of the victims had been shot to death. One of the two women was killed in a different manner, according to Troup County Sheriff's officials.
Authorities said the people may have been dead for more than a day, based on the condition of the bodies.
Investigators said they were looking for the husband of one of the victims — Thomas Jesse Lee, 26 — who they said was staying at the home. The Troup County Sheriff's Office said Sunday afternoon that he's wanted for questioning.
