Report: Matthew charged in Hannah Graham's murder

Jesse Matthew Jr. has been officially charged with first-degree murder in the death of University of Virginia student Hannah Graham, local media in Charlottesville, Va., report.
The Albemarle County Police Department would not confirm the charge Monday night and said that officials would take part in a press conference at 11 a.m. ET Tuesday to discuss the case.
Charlottesville CBS affiliate WTVR and NBC affiliate NBC29 cite unnamed sources in their reports that Matthews has been charged.
Graham, then 18, was in her second year a the Charlottesville school when she vanished last September. Her body was found on an abandoned property in Albemarle County, Va., on Oct. 18. She was last seen with Matthew leaving a bar on Sept. 13th.
Matthew, 32, was previously charged with abduction with intent to defile in the Graham case.
Tuesday's press conference will include the Albemarle County police chief and the commonwealth attorney.
Matthew is currently in jail in Fairfax County and is facing attempted capital murder, abduction and sexual penetration with an object, in connection with a 2005 attack of a woman. Matthew's trial in that case is set to begin on March 9.
Officials have said forensic evidence also ties Matthew to the 2009 death of Virginia Tech student, Morgan Harrington.Matthew has not been charged in that case.
