When firefighters arrived on the scene of a Colorado house fire, a message was waiting for them.
VPC
ARVADA, Colo. — A house heavily damaged by fire Tuesday bore a telling message when firefighters arrived to extinguish the blaze.
The words "My wife is a cheater" were scrawled multiple times on a house that firefighters responded to after reports of an explosion around 1:30 a.m.
The message also included a person's name that KUSA-TV is choosing not to identify.
Police said an arson suspect was taken into custody Tuesday morning.
Firefighters, who used a defensive strategy because the flames were so large, said they also found debris in the street.
No one was hurt and firefighters are investigating what caused the fire to start.
