Police: Tattoo promise leads to 4-day ordeal for woman
YUBA CITY, Calif. — A woman was raped and held against her will for four days after being promised a free tattoo by a man she recently friended on Facebook, according to county officials.
Jason Brakebill was booked into Yuba County Jail on charges of rape, false imprisonment, oral copulation and sexual penetration against the 21-year-old victim's will according to Yuba County Sheriff's spokesman Jerry Read.
Read said that Brakebill had friended the victim on Facebook on March 20 and offered her a free tattoo. They made arrangements to meet March 23. Brakebill allegedly drove the victim to his residence in Smartsville where he gave her methamphetamine and Klonopin.
Once she became unconscious, Brakebill had sexual intercourse with her, refused to allow her to leave his residence for four days and sexually assaulted her during that time according to Read.
The victim was able to get help after Brakebill passed out. During questioning, he denied the allegations and stated that they had consensual sex.
