Officer-involved shooting reported in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS — A suspect was transported to a hospital Saturday night after an officer-involved shooting in north St. Louis.
According to Leah Freeman, a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred on the 2500 block of Hodiamont Avenue. The suspect is a teenager and is listed serious, but stable, condition.
Authorities say a firearm was recovered on the scene. The officer involved is a 29-year-old, seven year veteran of the force.
No officers were injured.
