Bag tested positive for explosives at Minnesota Airport


A bag tested positive for explosives Saturday afternoon at a Minnesota airport.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport tweeted the bag was unattended and found near a United Airlines ticket counter. The Airport Police and Bloomington Bomb Squad were sent to investigate the scene. About 30 minutes later, the airport tweeted the scene was clear and the airport returned to normal operations.

Spokespeople for the airport could not be immediately reached.
