Secret Service officer fatally shot
A Secret Service officer, Arthur Baldwin. was fatally shot in Southwest D.C. Earlier this year police arrested Baldwin after he allegedly tried to break into his girlfriend's house while armed with his service weapon.

WASHINGTON — Local police are investigating Tuesday's fatal shooting of an off-duty Secret Service officer.
D.C. police said they were investigating the 3 p.m. shooting death of Arthur Baldwin, but declined further comment.
Secret Service spokeswoman Nicole Mainor said that Baldwin had been assigned to the agency's uniform division. She declined to comment on Baldwin's work history with the agency and directed other questions to D.C. police.
