'MuslimGirl' turns experience being bullied into a thriving business

Amani Al-Khatahtbeh grew up as a true Jersey girl, enthralled with pop culture and hanging out on the Shore. One summer, while spending time in her dad’s internet cafe, she taught herself coding and began a website dedicated to addressing issues facing Muslim girls. The site, MuslimGirl was a huge hit and now empowers young Muslim women and girls worldwide.
