Dena Takruri has made her career as a journalist covering hot button issues. Recently, her ground breaking coverage has included questioning Donald Trump, The Black Lives Matter movement, Standing Rock and the Syrian Refugee crisis. Growing up as a Palestinian woman, she didn’t see any journalists who looked like her. She is determined to speak truth to power.
