Funeral for Jersey City Detective Joseph Seals killed in rampage last week to be held on Tuesday

A funeral for a Jersey City detective, slain in a shooting spree by attackers who targeted a kosher supermarket last week, will be held Tuesday.
Detective Joseph Seals died at a cemetery before the assault on the market, which left three other people dead. The two suspects, who died during the rampage, are also the lead suspects in the killing of a Jersey City man found beaten to death in the trunk of a car a few days earlier.
The wake for Seals, who was killed during the shootout at the JC Kosher Supermarket on Tuesday, will be Monday in Jersey City, according to the Jersey State PBA.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aedan's Church in Jersey City.
An official GoFundMe page created by the Jersey City Police Department had raised over $440,000 as of late last week.
Seals, 40, joined the city police force in 2006. He lived in North Arlington with his wife and their five children.
