Paste BN seeking submissions for upcoming ranking of America’s Climate Leaders

Interest among consumers and investors about climate change is at record levels. Paste BN is partnering with market data company Statista to put together a ranking of United States-based companies, based on how much progress they have made in reducing their greenhouse gas emission intensity between 2019 and 2021. 

Emission intensity is a measure of the amount of greenhouse gasses a company produces relative to its revenue, making comparisons between different-sized enterprises possible. Companies will have the option of including Scope 3 emissions but only Scope 1 and 2 are required.  

Once gathered, the data will also be used to rank companies within specific lines of business such as automotive, consumer goods, energy, finance, retail, software and transportation.  

To take part, companies must be headquartered in the United States with a minimum revenue of $50 million in 2021. They will be required to fill out a short survey and verify the data provided.

The deadline to complete the survey is Dec. 22, 2022.
