Humans aren’t the only ones who go on Dunkin’ runs.

A witty raccoon “pulled up” to a Dunkin' drive-thru window last month and “ordered” a white frosted donut – and it was all caught on video.

The video, which was viewed more than 21 million times on TikTok, shows the raccoon skipping the drive-thru line and patiently waiting at the window.

A Dunkin’ worker – who noticed the raccoon approaching the window – grabbed a donut and reached over the drive-thru window to give the raccoon the dessert. The raccoon then reached for the donut, put it in its mouth and took off towards the bushes to enjoy the snack.

“Raccoon at Dunkin’ proves that EVERYONE RUNS ON DUNKIN,” TikTok user Samantha Jane Guptil, who captured the interaction, said.

Are raccoons dangerous?

Despite being no larger than an average house cat, raccoons can be dangerous. Raccoons can carry rabies and roundworm, both of which are harmful to humans.

According to the CDC, raccoon feces can sometimes contain the eggs of a worm called Baylisascaris procyonis – which can cause severe neurologic illness in humans.

According to Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, raccoons can carry other diseases including:

  • Giardiasis
  • Leptospirosis
  • Salmonella
  • E. Coli
