Two toddlers wearing nothing but diapers were spotted in the middle of a Texas highway following a two-car crash, according to authorities and video obtained by Paste BN.

The major crash occurred Tuesday on the main lanes of Interstate 10 East Freeway in Freeport, Texas, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez wrote in an X post. The crash involved two cars, with one of the vehicles flipping over several times causing ejection, the sheriff added.

The car that flipped over was occupied by a 25-year-old adult and two children ages 4 and 1, who were all taken to a hospital, according to a Harris County Sheriff's Office spokesperson. The people in the other vehicle were not injured, he said.

The adult and children are in stable condition, the spokesperson said. This investigation is ongoing with charges to be determined, he added.

'I thought they actually passed away'

Victor Cordova told KTRK-TV that he witnessed the wreck while he was driving home.

"I thought they actually passed away. I thought they were dead," Cordova said.

Cordova soon realized that everyone in the vehicle did not die when he saw the toddlers. Toward the end of the video, two males can be seen attending to and comforting the children.
