Man treated for burns after he is found injured in NYC Penn Station: Police

A man was treated for burn injuries after officers found him wounded in New York City's Penn Station Friday evening just days after another passenger was fatally set on fire aboard a subway train car.
A spokesperson for the New York Police Department told Paste BN that Metropolitan Transportation Authority officers found a 56-year-old man with burn injuries to his legs and upper body at around 8:10 p.m.
The man, who was not publicly identified by authorities, was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
It was not immediately clear what caused the injuries. No suspects have been identified yet, and the NYPD said it is an active investigation. No other details on the case were immediately available.
The incident comes days after a woman was fatally set ablaze on a subway train in Brooklyn. Police took a suspect into custody, and authorities announced Friday that he has been indicted on murder and arson charges.
