4 Chicago teens charged with shooting coyote with bow, stomping animal to death

Four teenagers have been cited in connection with the viscous killing of a coyote in Chicago city limits this month, police confirmed to Paste BN Tuesday.
According to the Chicago Police Department who first responded to the incident, officers responded to South Sacramento Avenue near Evergreen Park, a suburb about 16 miles south of downtown Chicago mid afternoon on Jan. 11.
Brandon Damm, a spokesperson with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the agency working with police on the case, said law enforcement spoke to witnesses, reviewed video, and found the coyote’s carcass after a group of teenagers shot it with a bow on a set of railroad tracks.
The teens, Damm said, then stomped the animal to death.
