'Ruff day': Watch Wisconsin police free dog whose head got stuck in treat container
The dog's owners rushed the pup, named Lil Murphy, to the police station after they couldn't free him and found their vet's office closed. Officers were able to free him at last.

A dog in Wisconsin had a "ruff day" this week after his head got stuck in a plastic Milk-Bone container for over an hour, police said.
The pup, named "Lil Murphy," was attempting to get the last treat in the container but then he couldn't get his head out, Whitefish Bay police said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Lil Murphy's owners tried getting the container off his head, but after an hour of unsuccessful attempts, they decided to drive him to the vet, according to police. Once they realized the vet was closed, they stopped by the police station for help, Whitefish Bay police said.
Whitefish Bay police officers free Lil Murphy from Milk-Bone container
Two Whitefish Bay police officers did a "paw-esome job" of cutting the dog loose, according to a Facebook post from the agency.
In a video obtained by Paste BN, the dog can be seen breathing hard as the officers use scissors to set him free. Once the remainder of the container is off of him, the dog wiggles and shakes its tail.
Once Lil Murphy is free, the humans helping him yell, "Yay, we did it!"
