Naked man punched 3-year-old, tried to rape woman at her LA home, police say
A suspect was taken into custody after authorities say a naked man punched a toddler and, in a separate incident, attempted to rape a woman at her nearby California home.
Ishmail Bangura, 33, was arrested and charged with felony assault with intent to commit rape and burglary, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
On Thursday, officers responded to a home in west Los Angeles for a report of a person who assaulted a 63-year-old woman inside her home, police spokesperson Officer David Cuellar told Paste BN.
Officers took the suspect, later identified by police as Bangura, into custody at the scene.

Nude man allegedly entered woman's home, threatened to rape, kill her
According to a preliminary investigation by police, a nude suspect entered the victim's home and threatened to rape her and kill her.
"The victim attempted to run which is when the suspect pushed her and got on top of her," Cuellar said. "Nearby witnesses intervened and removed the suspect from the victim."
The woman was transported to a hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries, police reported.

During a separate incident in a nearby apartment complex, police said the nude suspect punched a 3-year-old child.
The toddler was treated for unspecified injuries at the scene.
Man jailed on $2 million bond
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office records show Bangura remained jailed Wednesday on $2 million bond.
Online records show he's slated to appear in court on the case Thursday.
An attorney of record was not listed online for Bangura.
