20-year-old man charged with malice murder, accused of killing twin brother: Reports


A man is in custody after police alleged that he killed his twin brother in LaGrange, Georgia last week, according to local reports.

According to 11 Alive and Fox 5, local police responded to a report March 21 of an incident at a home just after 6 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers spotted a 20-year-old man, identified as Kiian Hodnett, with fatal gunshot wounds, the outlets reported.

Kiian's brother, Kiias Hodnett, also 20, was arrested in connection to his death. The local news stations reported that Kiias was charged with possession of a firearm and malice murder.

Victim was shot just before 911 was called

During their investigation, police learned that the victim was shot just before they were called. The LaGrange Daily News reported that officers tried CPR on Kiian at the scene.

A motive in this case is unclear at this time.

LaGrange is about 60 miles southwest of Atlanta.
