A wildfire in Pennsylvania has burned hundreds of acres as firefighters work to contain it.

The Packerton Fire, which is also known as the Jim Thorpe Fire or Bear Mountain Fire, set 426 acres ablaze and is 15% contained, according to Paste BN's wildfire data.

The fire is burning east of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, in Carbon County, which is around 82 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

The fire was discovered on Sunday, according to Paste BN's data.

The cause of the fire is still undetermined, but timber and vegetation are fueling it, according to Fire Weather Avalanche.
