When is the next Jan. 6 committee hearing?
The next (and final) Jan. 6 committee hearing will be Monday at 1 p.m. ET. Thompson told reporters the meeting would include a final report, which will be released on Wednesday.
What is happening at the next Jan. 6 committee hearing?
The House committee will vote on potential recommendations to the Justice Department to prosecute suspects for their roles in the Capitol attack. These recommendations are nonbinding, as the DOJ is already investigating the Jan. 6 attack.
The committee has targeted Trump alongside top aides like former chief of staff Mark Meadows, private lawyer John Eastman, former assistant attorney general for the environment Jeffrey Clark and Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
