The first witness in Hunter Biden's trial is an FBI agent who was portrayed in an HBO show
Prosecutors in Hunter Biden's federal gun case have called their first witness: FBI agent Erika Jensen.
Biden's trial marks the first criminal case against the child of a sitting president in U.S. history. He has been charged with three felonies in relation to a form he filled out to purchase a gun in 2018, which asked if he was addicted to drugs. He has pleaded not guilty.
Jensen took the stand Tuesday morning after both legal teams gave opening arguments, starting her testimony by introducing passages from Biden's memoir “Beautiful Things.” Hallie Biden, the widow of Hunter Biden’s brother, Beau Biden, and Zoe Kestan, Hunter Biden’s former girlfriend, will also be called to testify, prosecutor Derek Hines said Tuesday. Hallie Biden and Hunter Biden were also in a relationship following Beau Biden's death.
