Joe Biden to deliver eulogy at Ethel Kennedy memorial service in Washington

A memorial service for Ethel Kennedy will be held Wednesday in Washington.
Kennedy, 96, died Oct. 10, after suffering a stroke a week earlier, according to her family. Her funeral was Monday in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
President Joe Biden will deliver a eulogy at the Wednesday service, according to his schedule released by the White House. Former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton will also be in attendance.
Kennedy was married to Robert F. Kennedy, the brother of President John F. Kennedy. Robert F. Kennedy was fatally shot in 1968 during his run for the presidency. Together the couple had 11 children.
The service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights group confirmed. Ethel Kennedy was the founder of the organization and on the board of directors.
"Ethel Kennedy was an American icon—a matriarch of optimism and moral courage, an emblem of resilience and service," Biden said in a statement on Oct. 10. "Devoted to family and country, she had a spine of steel and a heart of gold that inspired millions of Americans, including me and Jill. We were blessed to call her a dear friend."
