Do I need to register to vote?
Yes.
How do I do that?
To check or update your registration status, visit the Secretary of State's website and head to My Voter Page.
What's the deadline?
You must register by Monday, October 7, to vote in the general election.
Where do I find out where my polling site is?
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. You can only vote at your assigned polling place. To find your location, visit My Voter Page or contact your county election office.
Can I vote by mail?
Yes, you can apply for an absentee ballot online, by mail, email or fax with this form or in person at your county election office. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Oct. 25.
What's the latest date I can turn in my ballot?
Your ballot must be received at your county election office or hand delivered to your county registrar or a drop box by Election Day.
Is there a way I can track my ballot?
Yes, check the status of your ballot on Georgia’s My Voter Page.
What if I need help getting to the polling site?
If you foresee having trouble getting to the polls, you can request an absentee ballot.
