Watch President Joe Biden's farewell address from the Oval Office
President Joe Biden will give his farewell primetime address to the nation Wednesday as he enters the final days of his administration and as President-elect Donald Trump prepares to return to the White House.
Biden, 82, pushed through major pieces of legislation during his term to unleash historic infrastructure spending, a resurgence of clean-energy factories and investments in the microchip industry to catch up to China, while also renewing ties with the country's international allies.
But those achievements were eclipsed by record-low approval ratings amid raging wars in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Biden was the Democrat's nominee for president until late July, when he dropped out of the race following a poor debate performance. He went on to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, who eventually lost to Trump in November.
Here's how you can watch Biden’s final address.
When is President Joe Biden’s farewell address?
The address from the Oval Office is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET, according to the White House.
