President-elect Donald Trump to hold 'victory rally' in Washington, DC before inauguration
President-elect Donald Trump is set to hold a victory rally in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, one day before returning back to the White House for a second term.
Preparations were underway for Trump's inauguration, including everything from the swearing-in ceremony to the balls and parties. On Inauguration Day, Americans will tune in to watch Trump's reciting of the presidential oath of office, the presidential parade, and a handful of performers, like Carrie Underwood.
But before all of that, the incoming president is set to host a rally in the nation's capital. Here is what you need to know.
When is the Trump rally in DC?
Trump is set to hold a "Make America Great Again Victory Rally at Capital One Arena," on Sunday, Jan. 19. According to a sign-up page for the event, the rally is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET, with doors opening at 10 a.m. ET.
Where is the Trump rally being held?
The rally will be held at the Capital One Arena, the home of the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals. The arena has a capacity of approximately 20,000 people.
