When is the 2025 White House Easter Egg Roll? How to get tickets, volunteer

On Thursday, First Lady Melania Trump announced that the annual White House Easter Egg Roll will again take place this spring.
Marking its 147th year, the tradition dates back to 1878 during Rutherford B. Hayes' presidency and is slated for April 21 on the South Lawn of the White House.
Families with children age 13 and younger are invited to join President Donald Trump, the First Lady, White House staff and their families for the festive event.
"The President and First Lady look forward to continuing this entertaining tradition and making it a truly memorable experience for all," The White House said in a statement.
How to get White House Easter Egg Roll tickets
Ticket to the event are free and available through a lottery that opens Tuesday and closes on March 10 at noon EST.
Those interested in attending can enter the lottery by clicking here.
Those selected to attend will be notified via email no later than March 18, according to information from the White House.

Those who would like to volunteers may submit their names online here.
The deadline to apply is March 19.
