President Donald Trump's address to Congress: Watch the full video

President Donald Trump spoke before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night in his first major address since returning to office in January.

Trump's speech touched on key topics such as the firing of tens of thousands of federal workers and the trade war launched against China, Mexico and Canada.

The address clocked in at 1 hour and 39 minutes, according to data compiled by the University of California-Santa Barbara’s The American Presidency Project, making it the longest such speech in modern history (but don't call this year's address a State of the Union). The American Presidency Project has tracked the time of presidential addresses to Congress since Lyndon B. Johnson's in 1964.
