What's next in Trump's merch game? Limited edition guitars, some with $10K price tags
Donald Trump has put his name on a lot of merchandise over the decades, including steaks, sneakers, Bibles and watches. The president-elect's latest venture: "Make America Great Again" guitars. Prices range from $1,250 to $10,000.
Trump shared a post on Truth Social on Wednesday featuring a limited-edition electric guitar adorned with the U.S. flag, an eagle and the slogan "Make America Great Again." The guitar is available in four styles: the “American Eagle Series,” the “Presidential Series,” the “Signature Edition” and “God Bless The USA.”"Only 1,300 of each Acoustic and Electric Guitars MADE — Some personally signed!," Trump wrote.
The "American Eagle" guitars feature the slogan "Make America Great Again" and have pearl inlay on the neck, along with the number 45 on the headstock, signifying Trump’s first term.
If you want Trump's autograph on a guitar, 275 are available with a $10,000 price tag each.
Some of Trump's past merchandise has sparked controversy, particularly the T-shirts with Trump's photo using a design similar to a Taylor Swift Eras Tour shirt, leading many "Swifties" to urge the superstar to endorse Kamala Harris - which she promptly did after the presidential debate.
In addition to watches and sneakers, Trump has sold limited-edition silver coins priced at $100, "God Bless the USA" Bibles, "Make American Great Again" hats and NFT trading cards, as previously reported by Paste BN.
