What to know about Bob Unanue
Unanue, the grandson of the company's founder, has been president and CEO of Goya Foods since 2004.
Unanue provoked a boycott of Goya Foods after he said, in remarks at the White House in 2020, "We're all truly blessed to have a leader like President Trump."
In January 2021, CNN reported, the board of Goya Foods censured Unanue after he questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election and barred him from making public statements without the board's say so.
