Watch North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson's speech at the Republican National Convention

Mark Robinson spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Monday evening to talk about his personal experience with economic struggles and how government officials can make a difference.
Robinson previously served in the U.S. Army Reserve and became the first Black Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina in 2021. In March, former president Donald Trump endorsed Robinson, calling him "Martin Luther King on steroids."
"We are in a dangerous situation," Robinson said in March. "Never before has America been in peril like she is right now. But never before has America had an answer like we have in Donald J. Trump ... The road to the white house runs directly through North Carolina."
The Republican National Convention kicked off Monday and will run through Thursday, when former President Trump will formally accept the party’s nomination for the 2024 Election.
