Jefferies sent a letter to House Democrats last week saying that "as House Democrats have done throughout this Congress, we will continue to work in the best interests of everyday Americans." He also met privately with President Joe Biden last Thursday to express concerns his continued candidacy could cost Democrats control in either body of Congress.
