Joe Rogan says Harris 'nailed it' during ABC debate, Trump is 'funny like a comic'

Podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan gave Kamala Harris kudos a day after she and former President Donald Trump duked it out during their debate on ABC last week.

On an episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," which was recorded on Sept. 11 but shared on Sept. 16, Rogan said the Democratic presidential nominee "nailed it" during the debate, which garnered an audience of 67 million.

“I just wanna say, whoever’s helping her, whoever’s coaching her, whoever’s the puppet master running the strings,” Rogan said about Harris after doing a mock chef’s kiss.

Rogan also said Harris was "better prepared" for the debate than Trump.

“The difference in that debate was not a difference in who’s gonna have better policies, who’s gonna be better for the country,” the podcaster said.

Rogan called Trump "funny like a comic" who during the debate had bad timing.

“Someone needs to tell him you’ve got these tiny little windows, and you should have all the words ready for those windows,” he said about the 78-year-old.

Before backing Harris' performance, Rogan had publicly endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president before he dropped out and announced his support for Trump. When Rogan endorsed the then-independent candidate last month, Trump expressed displeasure with the podcaster's decision.

"It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024" Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

Rogan previously acknowledged on an episode of his podcast that he would "rather vote for Trump than Biden" during the 2020 presidential election cycle.

“I don’t think [Biden] can handle anything," Rogan said in 2020. "You’re relying entirely on his cabinet. If you want to talk about an individual leader who can communicate, he can’t do that. And we don’t know what the (expletive) he’ll be like after a year in office."

"The pressure of being president of the United States is something that no one has ever prepared for. The only one who seems to be fine with it is Trump, oddly enough.”

Before announcing his vote for Trump in 2020, Rogan had endorsed Democrat Bernie Sanders.
