Trump unveils line of watches, some with 6-figure price tag: 'They will go fast'
Former President Donald Trump announced that he is selling a line of watches called 'Trump Watches' on Thursday, and some of them carry a six-figure price tag.
Donald Trump continues to roll out branded merchandise during his 2024 campaign and his next product, a line of watches, is quite pricey as some of them carry a six-figure price tag.
The former president announced "Trump Watches" in a Truth Social post on Thursday. The watches are currently available for preorder.
"The Official Trump Watch Collection is here, and these Watches are truly special — You’re going to love them," according to the GOP nominee's social media post. "Would make a great Christmas Gift. Don’t wait, they will go fast. GET YOUR TRUMP WATCH RIGHT NOW!"
A standard version of the watch, the "Red Silver Tone Fight Fight Fight," retails for $499. An "Onyx Gold Tone" version of the same watch costs $799.
The more premium watch, the "Trump Victory Tourbillon," costs $100,000. This watch, of which only 147 were made, is available in three different colors, including all gold, rose gold and gold with a black face.
A disclaimer on the watch's website says that neither Trump nor his company designed, manufactured, distributed or sold the watches. Instead, a company named “TheBestWatchesOnEarth LLC” licensed the Trump name to sell the line of watches.
Trump selling coins, bibles, sneakers and other merchandise
The announcement of "Trump Watches" comes days after the 78-year-old began selling coins priced at $100. The limited-edition silver medallions, dubbed "Trump Coins," were designed by Trump and minted in the United States, Trump said in a video message he posted to Truth Social on Saturday.
"Hello everyone I have something incredible to share today, we are announcing the launch of Trump coins," the former president says in the 1-minute video message, calling them a "true symbol of American greatness."
Coins and watches are not the only collectibles Trump is selling, as his campaign currently has Bibles, "Make American Great Again" (MAGA) hats, exclusive sneakers and NFT trading cards on the market.
