Beyoncé to reportedly attend Kamala Harris, Colin Allred rally in Houston on Friday

This is not a drill: Beyoncé is reportedly set to be in Texas on Friday.
White House reporter Tyler Pager of the Washington Post said the star is expected to appear with Vice President Kamala Harris in Houston. According to Reuters, the pop star is expected to perform during the rally.
The location has not yet been confirmed.
Tina Knowles and Willie Nelson to attend Texas rally
Harris is scheduled to attend a rally in Houston with U.S. Rep. Colin Allred, who is running against GOP incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz for the U.S. Senate. This event will be the first joint appearance of Harris and Allred on the campaign trail this election cycle.
Other confirmed guests, including Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, and Willie Nelson, according to Forbes.
Has Beyoncé officially endorsed Harris?
The superstar has not officially endorsed Harris but did allow her campaign to use her 2016 song 'Freedom,' which features Kendrick Lamar and addresses themes of racism, police brutality, and slavery.
Howver, Tina Knowles immediately endorsed Harris for president after she announced her bid. Harris' running mate Tim Walz has been deemed a certified Beyhive member. And last summer, Harris attended Beyoncé's Renaissance concert just outside of Washington after the superstar gifted her tickets.
Beyoncé was also rumored to make a surprise appearance at the Democratic National Convention in August but did not attend. Her song 'TEXAS HOLD'EM' was selected during the DNC's roll call on the second night, where each state and territory presented a musical choice.
Beyoncé, a Houston native, continues to be a prominent figure in the political conversation.
Former President Trump to also be in Texas on Friday
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz will deliver campaign remarks on border security to reporters in Austin, the American-Statesman reported. Trump is also set to make appear on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast Friday.
This is a developing story.
