In a highly-promoted event, Trump hosted a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City Sunday night. The event became controversial due to Trump's off-color jabs at Democrats, and an opening comedian who called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage." The Trump campaign distanced the candidate from the racist comment, saying it does not reflect his views.

Melania Trump also made a rare public appearance at the MSG rally.

Trump's interview with top podcaster Joe Rogan came out over the weekend, and they chatted about aliens, election interferences and foreign policy in the nearly three-hour interview.
