Tuesday is Election Day, and former President Donald Trump has been campaigning to take the White House again for nearly two years.

On Monday, he held four campaign events across three states as he made his final plea to voters.

Trump is likely to spend the final day as a candidate in his third presidential election in Florida. The Palm Beach Daily News, part of the Paste BN Network, reported that he is expected to vote for himself in Palm Beach on Tuesday.

The Trump campaign is hosting an election night watch party in West Palm Beach at the Palm Beach Convention Center, according to a media advisory.

Polls continue to show that Trump is in a neck-and-neck race with Vice President Kamala Harris. The Harris-Walz campaign is hosting its election night event at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The historically Black college is Harris’ alma mater.

News from the final day of the presidential campaign

Trump and running mate JD Vance zig-zagged across several swing states Monday. Trump hosted rallies in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

In North Carolina, Trump promised a new tariff of 25% of all goods from Mexico if the country doesn’t help curb the flow of immigration into the U.S.

“I’m going to inform her (Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum) on day one or sooner that if they don’t stop this onslaught of criminals and drugs coming into our country, I’m going to immediately impose a 25 percent tariff on everything they send into the United States of America,” Trump said during the rally in Raleigh.

Tariffs are designed to boost manufacturing but economists say they can invite retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods and therefore raise prices on U.S. consumers and reduce economic growth.

Trump also joked on Monday that Biden liked him more than he liked Harris and accused Harris of copying his comedic bit with her appearance on "Saturday Night Live."

A key issue Trump has campaigned on, immigration was also a key talking point at Trump's rally in Reading, Pennsylvania.
