You still have a little bit of time to vote in Vermont if you haven't yet.

Vermont polls are open until 7 p.m., as voters head to the voting booth to weigh in on the presidential election, which features former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, as well as  U.S. senator, U.S. representativegovernor, lieutenant governor, treasurer, secretary of state, auditor of accounts, attorney general, the state Senate (30 seats), state House of Representative (150 seats), high bailiff (14 seats) and justices of the peace (1,800).

You can use this map to find your polling location.

Soon after the polls close at 7 p.m., tallies will start to come in, though it may take several days before the results of the election are known throughout the country. Vermont has 3 votes in the electoral college. It takes 270 votes to win the presidency.

Here is what time polls will be closing in each state, according to states' websites. All times are local.

Which state's polls close first on Election Day?

Both Indiana and Kentucky close their polls at 6 p.m. local time (note: each state is partially in both Eastern Time and Central Time), the earliest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The following states will close their polls at 7 p.m. local time on Election Day:

The following states will close their polls at 8 p.m. local time on Election Day:

States with polls closing at 9 p.m.

New York polls opened at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. on Election Day for in-person voting.

Timing varies

Some states don’t have a uniform statewide end time. In New Hampshire and North Dakota polls are open depending on your county or municipality.
