Alaska Rep. Don Young sorry for grabbing aide

Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska, has apologized for grabbing the arm of a young House aide after the incident was captured on camera.

"While returning to the GOP conference meeting to discuss the ongoing situation on our southern border, I was caught off guard by an unidentified individual who was physically blocking me from re-entering the room,” Young said in a statement to NBC News and CQ Roll Call.  “Regardless, my reaction was wrong and I should have never placed my hands on the young man.”

The encounter was witnessed by NBC producer Frank Thorp V and Tom Williams, a photographer for CQ Roll Call, who captured the incident on their cameras.
