Oh God, Mama Woodhouse is now on Twitter!

Joy Woodhouse is now a multimedia phenom.

Woodhouse, mother to Democratic and Republican political operatives,  joined Twitter on Thursday following her debut splash on C-SPAN earlier in the week when she called in to get her bickering sons to pipe down so she can enjoy her Christmas in peace. She's been called a "hero mom," and the incident has been featured in major newspapers around the globe, as well as many TV programs.

Brad Woodhouse, the liberal brother who is president of Americans United for Change, announced the arrival of @mamawoodhouse with similar words used by his conservative sibling, Dallas, when their mother called the public affairs network.

"Oh God — she's on Twitter," Brad tweeted.

If you haven't watched Joy Woodhouse on C-SPAN, she is a hoot. All this buzz can't be bad for the Woodhouse brothers and their documentary, Woodhouse Divided, which was the reason Joy's sons were on the public affairs network anyway.

The C-SPAN video has now received more than 2.2 million clicks on YouTube — making Mama Woodhouse and her boys eighth on C-SPAN's all-time watch list.
