Cruz's book to be released June 30
Another sign Ted Cruz is planning a presidential run: He's got a book coming out.
A Time for Truth: Reigniting the Miracle of America will be released June 30, HarperCollins Publishers told The Associated Press.
The first-term senator from Texas says he plans to discuss his life, and support for free markets and liberty.
"Men and women are frustrated with career politicians in both parties who are not listening to them," Cruz told the Associated Press in a recent interview.
Books have become near-obligatory acts for aspiring presidential candidates.
"Cruz, a favorite among tea party activists who has battled with Democrats and members of his own party, also said he wants to counter the 'caricatures' of the right as 'stupid,' 'evil' or 'crazy.'
"'The image created in the mainstream media does not comply with the facts,' he said.
