Obama adviser: I did not leak Clinton e-mail story
A prominent adviser to President Obama is flatly denying a report that she leaked the news that Hillary Rodham Clinton used a private e-mail account during her years as secretary of State.
"It's preposterous," White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett said Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe.
The New York Post reported this week that Jarrett leaked Clinton e-mail details to the press "through people outside the administration, so the story couldn’t be traced to her or the White House."
In denying that claim, Jarrett also told MSNBC that Obama is glad to see that Clinton is "turning over her e-mails to the State Department."
