Ex-reality star Jon Gosselin considering political race
Could a reality TV star known for feuding with his ex-wife turn to Pennsylvania politics?
Jon Gosselin, best known as the dad in Jon & Kate Plus Eight, told OK! magazine that he's thinking of running for state representative in his home state.
"I'm contemplating running for office," said Gosselin, who now works as a disc jockey. "I have a meeting but I'm still hesitant on that because I'm more intimidated, even though politics is kind of like entertainment, it's just a different kind of world."
Different, no doubt, from letting the cameras roll as you try to raise eight kids. Jon and Kate Gosselin divorced in 2009, and their TV show ran for two years. The show's fifth season premiere drew 9.8 million viewers.
Gosselin, who lives in Reading, Pa., said he needs to make a decision by next January to run for a two-year term.
