Hillary Clinton praises Elizabeth Warren in 'Time 100' essay

Hillary Clinton's short essay on Elizabeth Warren for the annual TIME list of 100 Most Influential People will surely create some buzz.

This bit by the Democratic presidential hopeful about the Massachusetts senator — a favorite of progressives on Clinton's left — stands out:

And she never hesitates to hold powerful people’s feet to the fire: bankers, lobbyists, senior government officials and, yes, even presidential aspirants.

Warren has repeatedly said she's not running for president, but that hasn't stopped liberal groups from calling on Clinton to adopt the kind of populist stances that the Massachusetts senator is known for. What's more, Warren also has reserved judgment on whether Clinton is the future of the Democratic Party by saying she wants to see what the former secretary of State "wants to run on."
