Hillary Clinton joins LinkedIn
Nearly six weeks after starting her job search, Hillary Clinton has joined LinkedIn.
Clinton, who announced on April 12 that she's running for president, detailed why she wants "to be a small business president" in a post on the social network site geared toward job seekers.
The New York Times notes that, while other White House hopefuls have used LinkedIn, "few engage it frequently."
Clinton outlines four proposals for boosting small businesses in her post, including "cutting the red tape" and "expanding access to capital."
On another social media front for the Clinton campaign, and in keeping with the small business theme, the Democratic presidential hopeful handed over her Twitter account for the day on Thursday morning to Mary Jo Brown, a New Hampshire resident who runs a strategic design firm in the state.
