Bush 'slow jams' his announcement with Fallon

Sure, there are a lot of Republican presidential candidates -- but only Jeb Bush has "slow jammed" the news with TonightShow host Jimmy Fallon.

Hitting the intersection of politics and entertainment, Bush participated Tuesday night in the long-standing Fallon bit in which news events are sung with innuendo-laden lyrics and bluesy music by the house band, the Roots. The news event in this case: Bush's formal declaration of his candidacy Monday in Miami.

"After months of being a total caucus tease/Jeb finally made up his mind and quit beating around the bush," Fallon intones at one point.

A Roots singer adds: "Jeb really wants to get in the White House/but not as bad as Obama wants out."

Jeb, perhaps thankfully, doesn't sing; he just echoes part of his announcement speech.

During the more traditional interview with Fallon, Bush again tackled the inevitable comparisons with his presidential father and brother.

There's no way he can compare with President George H.W. Bush, Jeb said, calling his father "the most perfect man I've ever met ... He's the greatest man alive."

And George W?

"My brother, I would say, is a significantly better artist than I am," Jeb said. "I'm still doing stick drawings. He can actually paint."

Jeb added: "I'm a whole lot younger and a lot better looking."
