Biden: No decision yet on 2016 campaign

Vice President Biden has not yet decided whether to seek the presidency in 2016, his office said Monday.

"The Biden family is going through a difficult time right now," said spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff.

Biden lost his son Beau to brain cancer on May 30.

Barkoff responded to a Wall Street Journal story reporting that  the vice president's sons -- Beau and Hunter -- have in the past urged Biden to pursue the presidency next year.

Said Barkoff: "Any speculation about the views of the Vice President or his family about his political future is premature and inappropriate."
