Clinton disputes Obama on Arctic drilling
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton broke with President Obama on Tuesday over the issue of drilling in the Arctic Ocean.
"The Arctic is a unique treasure," Clinton said in a Twitter message. "Given what we know, it's not worth the risk of drilling. -H."
The tweet came a day after the Obama administration gave Shell the go-ahead to resume drilling for oil and gas off the Alaska coast.
Environmentalists, key components of the Democratic political coalition, have criticized the administration over its Arctic drilling policy.
