Trump to release medical records, says 'it will show perfection'

Donald Trump says he is perfect, medically speaking. The GOP presidential hopeful tweeted that he has instructed his doctor to release his medical records within two weeks.

“It will show perfection,” he tweeted.

The tweet came hours after Politico published a report noting that he has declined so far to release his records, despite once saying that all presidential candidates should do so.

After publication of the report, Trump promoted his health and “great genes.”

Presidential candidates’ health is always important, but “Trump’s age, diet and self-professed lack of workout regimen makes the issue more pressing in his case,” Politico reported.

If elected, Trump would be 70 by the time of his inauguration.
